Assembly training must help people learn the correct sequence, recognise components and perform consistently. Traditional instruction can be constrained by equipment availability, trainer time and the cost of mistakes during early practice.
CUPS Innovation translated the assembly process into a guided VR experience. Learners could move through a recognisable production environment, interact with the workflow, repeat important steps and receive consistent instruction without consuming production material.
The recorded project results showed a 30–50% reduction in training time and a 25–40% reduction in assembly-related errors. These figures are specific to this implementation and should be treated as project outcomes, not guaranteed results for every VR deployment.
